    Park Overview

In the midst of piñon, juniper, and ponderosa pine woodlands in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains not far from Santa Fe, the remains of the ancestral pueblos stand as meaningful reminders of people who once prevailed here. The human timeline also includes Spanish exploration and colonization, mission settlement, the Santa Fe Trail, Civil War, and Hollywood.

The park is open year-round except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Check the park website for park hours or call (505)-757-7241.
